QUESTION: I have a buddy at work who always comes in with a gigantic cold brew coffee every morning from Dutch Bros. Is Dutch Bros just cold coffee? – Andy C
CLEARLY COFFEE REPLIES: The biggest part of the menu at Dutch Bros is cold drinks, smoothies and freezes if you’re just looking at the menu overall. But they also serve plenty of hot drinks if you look a little deeper.
I have had a hot latte and a hot Americano at Dutch Bros when I visited one of their Texas drive thru locations. They also make hot cocoa drinks and a “not-so-hot” warm cocoa version for little kids that won’t accidentally burn them if they spill it or drink it too fast.
The Dutch Classic drinks can be ordered as hot drinks, cold drinks or blended cold drinks. These are the delicious-and-sugary espresso based drinks like the Kicker (Irish creme breve), the Caramelizer (caramel mocha), the Double Torture (extra shot vanilla mocha) and the Golden Eagle (espresso, half and half, vanilla syrup and caramel sauce, then topped with whipped cream and a caramel sauce drizzle).
So it’s safe to say that your work buddy just prefers cold drinks, and could order them hot if he wanted to.
FYI there is no plain drip coffee at Dutch Bros. (You can order an Americano though, which is almost the same thing.)
