Aside from serving great cups of coffee in its stores, Starbucks also has a range of coffee products you can make at home. These include coffee roasts, Kcups, and instant coffee.

For instant coffee, you can choose from Starbucks Via or the Premium Instant. Instant coffee may conjure an image of bad-tasting coffee, but will the Starbucks Premium Instant be an improvement?

I will test and review the Starbucks Premium Instant Medium Roast in this post. I’ll also sample the coffee with popular flavorings before comparing its taste against other instant coffees.

As much as many enjoy sipping coffee, not all are capable of handling the caffeine these beans have. As a result, many roasters offer decaffeinated beans. The idea is to allow you to enjoy coffee without the jittering effects of caffeine.

However, decaf coffee tends to have that reputation of being more lacking in taste and flavor, especially lighter roasts. Will AmazonFresh’s Colombian Decaf Roast suffer from the same problem? Let’s find out.

In this post, I will be reviewing the AmazonFresh Colombian Decaf Roast. As usual, I’ll be brewing it three ways, and then sample it with flavorings. Finally, I’ll compare the roast with similar ones in my collection.

The Starbucks Veranda Blend is a popular light roast enjoyed by many. However, not all have the luxury of being able to brew their own coffee. As a result, Starbucks introduced the instant coffee version through its Starbucks Via lineup.

The question, however, is how good is the instant version? Will Starbucks Via Veranda Blend taste just as satisfying as the original whole bean roast, or just a marketing gimmick to generate more sales? Let’s find out.

Dunkin is one of the world’s largest chain restaurants, famous for its coffee and donuts combo. Dunkin also offers a wide range of coffee roasts that you can pick up at grocery stores and brew at home.

One of them is the Midnight Roast. This roast is one of Dunkin’s dark-roasted blends and is well-loved by many. If you are wondering whether to pick up a bag of this or not, read on.

One of Starbucks’ most popular roasts is the House Blend, which I will review here. In this post, I will brew the coffee in several ways and see how it tastes. Then I will compare it against similar coffee roasts and see how it stacks up against them.

Nescafe Gold is Nescafe’s line of premium instant coffees. Aside from the original Nescafe Gold, there are also many special blends, such as the Alta Rica, Espresso, and Cap Colombia.

However, how good are these special blends? Are they genuinely good, or is it just a way for Nescafe to package and sell more coffee? I am here to find out for you.

People love to drink coffee all over the world and everywhere you go they prepare it in different ways. Many societies have adapted coffee to their local taste buds, resulting in all sorts of coffee styles that you can experiment with and try.

Asian White Coffee is one such example. Rich, creamy, and mellow, this coffee is widely enjoyed in Southeast Asia, particularly in countries such as Singapore and Malaysia.

In this post, I will try to sample a cup of Asian White Coffee and see how it tastes. I’ll also examine how to sample one of this coffee, especially if you live in North America or Europe.

Aside from Lavazza, Illy is probably the best-known name for coffee outside of Europe. They seem to make high-quality roasts, and the Illy Clasico instant coffee remains one of my favorites.

However, how about their coffee grounds? Can we simply assume that if the instant coffee is pretty good, the ground coffee would be even better? I’m here to find that out for you.

One thing about gourmet coffee drinkers, they like to dismiss big coffee houses such as Starbucks. In fact, the common moniker given to Starbucks is ‘Starbucks,’ as it has a reputation for roasting its beans a little darker.

Is this true? Or just a way for these coffee snobs to dismiss popular roasts? I picked up a bag of Starbucks coffee to find out. This time, I have the Veranda Blend.

In this post, I will brew the Starbucks Veranda Blend three ways and taste it. I will also experiment by adding flavorings to the coffee and see if they improve the taste of the coffee. Finally, I compare it against other light roasts and decide who will enjoy the coffee most.
